Hello everyone!
What do you think about the Infinity M35?
I have been looking for a 2004-06 LS. I have a friend who has been looking for a 2006-07 M35.
They are about the same $$, but I tell him the LS is way more car.
I have nothing to gain or lose with his purchase decision.
It seems like a pretty sweet car.
I can't see any reason to talk him into an LS.

If I wanted a mid sized sedan car that handles well I would be talking 535 or A6 with a warrantee. The m was just to nervous to me, not quiet enough(the dash is enticing though) could not see driving it on long trips like the LS, A6 or 535.

Two years ago I went to a local Infiniti dealership to check out the 05-06 M35/45. I was just curious how the car is inside comfort wise and material wise.
There were a few M35s on the lot, I picked one and got in. First imression was - I am in a tight cage. I'm not small at 6' 2" and 250lbs and I felt very cramped inside doesn't matter how I played with seat controls, much smaller shoulder room too. Materials inside were just ok, absolutely no comparison to LS superb material quality. Interior built quality was not great with pieces installed crooked and having big gaps in between. The only feature I wish was working in LS as good as in M is cooled seats which works leaps and bounds better. After a big disappointment in interior I did not want to drive it. But I raced one in my 430 and beat it without a problem, we were even up to 30mph then I started a steady pull on him, and that's with a somewhat sluggish 5speed tranny, 6 speed LS is even quicker.
The only thing I like about M35/45 is how exterior look and how cooled seats work

Both reliable, M35 somewhat more fragile with fit and finish issues.

somewhat more fragile how about parts that are substandard, i had an infiniti 3 sets of rotors for warping please the m35 is a ok vehicle and its interior was nice for its time the comparisons with the last ls generations is a joke
