I have a 2005 LS430 that i installed a after market xm radio. I would like to connect the shark fin ant. I have the adapter cable to connect but i cant find the end of the shark fin. Someone said it was behind the panel in the trunk. I don't want to tear up the trunk just looking for it Where do I start.?

Do you mean the rubber pole antenna on the back part of the roof? This is not the correct frequency for XM reception and will result in poor (if any) signal. That antenna might not be wired to anything as it was completely useless in 2005, the old antenna was for the now defunct Lexuslink cell connection and no longer serves any function.
