This the unit I'm picking up for my UL. From my research, these units are the best in the market for our application. IMO

now would this totally replace the OEM navgation screen or is just a hidden add-on that'll have the ipod/usb cord sticking out?

The unit integrates into the existing setup and the cables are run to where you want. But if your existing dvd setup is already hooked up to your sound system what's the point? If you have an aux in just buy a rca to 1/8 adapter.

Personally, I have a hard time believing it is knowing how these Marc Levinson system work.

Edit: Yeah, like I said, their not connected to your sound system. Wireless modulators pretty much suck. The Grom is a much better choice.
