My new to me 05 LS430 black on black
Picked up this sports edition 2005 with 49k today. I was really confused between a ls460 or a ls430 guys over here helped my decision towards a ls430. here's are the pics. The car is in amazing condition inside out..looks sharp. i will get some tints and then ipod integration/nav update. That is pretty much i have planned..
i didnt care for a UL just because i have 2 little kids and no one is using the back seat + i wanted black interior most of them were Tan.
They also had a LFA sitting in there, first time i have seen in person ..really nice

I wish my car was black, looks so classy in the LS. I currently have the stock 17" wheels and have been looking for the chrome 18" like what you have but not having any luck. Only can find the standard alloy
Congrats on the pickup, I just wonder if you can feel a difference in the sport suspension verses the standard suspension.

I've had a brand new 05 LS430, a lightly used 08 LS460L and brand new 2012 LS460L.
The LS460 has a few nice features with the stereo system but volume is seriously nannied from 2010 on... The long wheelbase IS very nice... The updated interior/exterior is also a big plus.
However, in my opinion, everything else goes to the LS430. To me, it's just a nicer car to be in whether driver or passenger. The leather is softer, the build quality is better, it's quieter, softer riding...
Enjoy your LS430...

Not sure which year you picked up, but i was sacred away from the 07-08 models because of engine/valve issues/nav dead screen.
I also dont really like interior of the ls460, love the 2013s..but compared to ls430 it just looks a step backwards in quality. i also didnt like how the ls460 felt..didnt feel as solid built(maybe that's just in my head). I like the 460s engine..but tranny not as smooth as the ls430.
i had a lx470 2006, i upgraded to the lx570 no reason expect i thought new cars are better, 1 week later i was missing the older LX. the lx570 felt clumsy and i never got that vault/tank feeling i used to get in the lx470.
I used to have a GS400 , the only money i ever spend was modding it, since ls430 has a the same drive train i figured i knew what i am getting into.
being said that if i had 50k to spend i would have bought a 2010+ LS460L CPO..., maybe i will pick up a ls460 f sport in 3/4 years when they are in the 40s range

Looks very sharp in black...... when they're clean. lol
You got a nice ride there especially with an 11 year old car that only put 4500 miles on a year and you got the sport suspension too as an added bonus. As we all know, these cars weren't built for the twisties but the sport suspension give you added confidence if you have to deal with them.
Good luck with your new ride.
