Writes123, there is one bulb below the gear shift shift indicator. Unscrew the shift ****. Carefully remove chrome trim around shifter base with nylon pry tool. Remove wood console base by prying up again carefully with nylon pry tool or screwdriver with tape on it to prevent scratching. Underneath you will find a small bulb, socket, wire to the area.

The audio shop that installed my Grom mentioned that they replace lights in radios often. The bulbs are very generic. I had them replace a few of mine and he has all sorts of that were just like the oem that I brought with me. Might be worth calling a few and seeing what they say.

I'll be doing this task this week.

writes123, From the diagram (and memory), you need to remove / unscrew the shifter **** (#33504F), the chrome trim (#35972 on diagram), then the wood console cover (pry up carefully), then the upper position indicator housing (#35971A) which has 4 clips on each corner (use screwdriver to squeeze open clips, if necessary), then a black plastic position indicator slide cover (#35975), then (I think) the position indicator housing plate (#35977A) has to come off as well to gain access to the (buried) bulb. (You'll see if that's necessary once you're at that stage.) The bulb is easy replacement.

Lavrishevo, when I installed a VaisTech MML, I had the ML radio out, but didn't take its face plate off since I didn't have a replacement bulb. I may ask local audio shops if they replace radio bulbs, and if they do, then remove the radio myself and have the local audio shop replace the bulb. Thanks for the suggestion.

We have replacement bulbs for all makes and models, they are generic like someone said.
Generally there is a 3mm wide bulb, 4mm, and 4.7mm. We have them for 99 cents each, discounted if you buy packs of 10 or more. 3mm or 4mm would probably be the sizes needed for all of the interior buttons. Radios usually use 3mm.
