Glad I can help someone!!!!!
My SC300, my brother and I just did the front end with the parts from TL ebay 2 months ago. Has run like a top just before, not one thing wrong at 105k miles. After change out, have ck engine light, random missfire cylinder 1 and 6 and a smell of coolant, way more than usual. Coolant leak verified from water pump vent pipe and now seeping seals on removal of timing cover and crank shafts, Coated with oil
My 4runner was done with one of these kits from ebay but not from TL. Was done We now have "fake NGK /Denso spark plugs Fake Asin water pumps. Possibly substandard BOSHI timing belts to look out for. I have learned my lesson for I now have to go back and take it all apart again! Was not hard but time consuming. I'll manually order each F'N part myself nextime with time.

I recently had my local indy shop install the Aisin TKT-021 water pump/timing belt kit I bought from Amazon (directly from Amazon not a third party) for $168.78. No complaints from the mechanics. So far I’ve put several hundred miles on it without any issues. As a bonus it fixed my mysterious coolant loss (no puddles under the car but the coolant reservoir slowly went down). Apparently my water pump was leaking.

This post is not about a LS430 but I have to say that the Aisin timing belt kit was packed to sell cheaper cutting corners, IMHO. The Aisin water pump for my daughter's car Daihatsu Move is now making squeak noise but not yet leaking. I think I have to replace it soon before she is stranded.

Mine was sold by WorldPac and has been in the car 42k....not sure these days what anybody can do about quality control. My buddy is in warehousing and his staff will setup say 40 label printers that cost around $4k each, and nowadays seems like 1-2 will be bad out of the box. That's all fine and dandy until the number of hours his staff has to spend getting a replacement kicks in and their hourly loaded rates being nearly $70. Look at Takata, my BMW has been recalled again (the airbag installed late 2016 to address the potential of death ans shrapnel may not work), and I'm already expecting the settlement check. Heck I took a tour of a Boeing factory where they used the term FOD, and look at what's happened to them.
I call this the floor jack conundrum. One floor jack costs $85. Another $1200. They look to be the same. In that case, the only difference is the warranty, not the item itself. Same with car batteries. Same with motor oil. It's not as simple as saying let me spend double and the problem of quality goes away...my .02
