Default O6 Rx400h disc player - Plug n Play??

I took mine out to try and reset (green CORRECT DISC ERROR screen). I realized that I was missing a plug to insert in the BLUE port. Is this supposed to be open??

QUOTE=imbvl;8293900]Tom, the other Gen 2/3 was on EBay, and sold at $50. Too much risk for me. So I'll follow your earlier advice, and get a used Gen 4 unit. Thanks for the part numbers. I know how to install it - easy, plug-and-play.

Thank you, and Merry Christmas!

My 2001 LS340 lost its disk and GPS facility about a month ago. (306,000 miles) I have read this thread top to bottom several times and conclude that parts numbered 86841-0E010 and 86841-50090 are functionally equivalent. Am I correct on this?

I realize that I am about two years late on this question !

Thought I'd add this for comedic relief

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a moderate-cost fix? I can buy another reader on EBay for $300+, but I'm only trying to improve the resale value - I'm trying to sell it.

Thanks for your help!

Bruce, it was very cold one day and it happened to me. I disconnected the nav dvd player in the trunk and then plugged it back in. It reset and is working fine now. Go to you tube and it will show where it is and how to remove it.
