Default In-Cabin Fan?

I don't get to drive our 2005 430 very often. Today I drove to the store and noticed a fan or something that sounds like a fan running in the cabin. It sounds like somewhere in the passenger side foot area. Turning off the climate control did not turn it off. I asked my wife and she said sometimes it stops by itself. Anyone know what this is?

I'd think it's the seat's adjustable temperature fan; you can turn it off or on with the gray ***** on the panel.

Hope this helps.

it could also be the cooling fan for the NAV system, i can hear mine sometimes very faintly if i am not playing any music and im stopped at a light. Or yea it could be the fans on the seat coolers.

Thanks guys. It was the fan in passenger seat. I did not know they were there! I thought it was only for control of seat heating.

There's a fan in the nav system too? Amazing. I wonder how many fans, actuators and motors there are in these cars.
