Help, removing side panel of glove box
Hello, I came from SC400 to ES300, and now LS430...
Long time CL member, here... Now, I am on LS forum a lot.
Thank you for the all the information!
Can you help me? Anyone who removed this before?
How to remove this right side panel from the glove box?
Just yank it?
I think that it is part# 8 on the diagram

When I took my glovebox apart the other day, that piece was still attached to it. I think you will have to disassemble the entire glovebox and undo some screws from the inside.
I found out how to take apart the glovebox from the Data Systems controller installation thread. Pulling the wood trim off was harder than I thought it would be.

Ill try to remember to take a look when I get home. I have my glovebox out of my car and I can probably figure it out and post up some pics.
*edit
Do not yank on the panel to try and remove it. You will destroy it. You need to remove the glove box in order to get to the screws that hold that panel in place.
This is a pic of the backside of the panel. There are 3 screws along with the bolt at the bottom that hold the entire glove box in place and tabs.
