Default New plugs needed at 54k miles

Good morning. Changed out the plugs on my new to me 2005 LS430. Was pretty easy but a little crowded on passenger side. Found NKG plugs installed and worn out. Lexus shows a paper trail till 30K miles, but the last 20K miles is quiet. I will add a pic of plug. The center electrode was worn down past the 7mm to the main electrode. After new air filter and MAF cleaning and a throttle body cleaning car runs awesome. Also starts very quick and easy like it should. Thanks again for everyone's help.
Tip: If the car does not start quickly and or has hesitation at take off and or low MPG, I would suggest checking and doing these options.
Put in Denso 4mm plugs.

I just had mine done at 110K and they looked about the same as yours. After a few weeks of checking my MPG is really the same. Feels like she has a little better acceleration but nothing to write home about.

As far as the starting time, it seems to me to be the same as well. Both my LS400 and 430 are not bump start cars. I always hold the starter on for about 3/4 to 1 second and never have to start twice.

looks pretty black for only 50 000 miles.

my MPG also seems to be lower then it should , although its hard to say ,,I changed my air filter (it was filthy) and my next move is to clean the MAF, and if that don't work then plugs.

Does anyone know how to properly clean the MAF? I saw the thread on the plug DIY change I think I can tackle that n my own.

Super easy. Purchase can of MAF cleaner from auto parts store. Remove MAF. Spray with cleaner. Let dry for a few min and reinstall. Just be careful to not touch the wires inside the sensor.
