Liked my Wife's '04 so much, I bought an '01!!!
Howdy:
Relatively new to this forum. Bought my Wife a pristine '04 UL Moonlight Pearl with 135k on it on Jan 30th for $14,000 in Orange County, CA. Liked it so much, and she won't let me drive her's, so bought myself a creampuff '01 UL in white on Feb 26th with 103k on the clock for $10,600 just North of San Diego!!! Both on Craigslist.
These LS430's are fabulous! All maintenance up to date & fabulous tires.
What a bargain!
Spend a few extra bucks and fly in to get a Southwest car! Then, vacation your way home!
There may be something wrong with me.......
Best, R

That 01 UL seems like a pretty good deal. I live in the SoCal area and had quite a hard time finding a well-maintained 430 for a "bargain" price. Congrats on both your purchases.
I had looked at 2 '01 UL before getting a 05 UL that i came across. A lower mileage '01 UL seems harder to find these days.
Also, a quick question, Rwhartso, did you also look at another 01 UL with 160k in the SoCal area. It's been for sale for quite some time. I was just wondering if you had looked at it and decided to pass on it due to some issues. Thanks.

And don't forget to restore the fog light lenses on your 01 LS. Most of the lens restoration kits include enough materials to restore the headlight and fog light lenses on one vehicle.
I've used several brands of lens restoration kits. The best I've used so far is the one from Sylvania - about $25. Be sure to mask around the lenses at all stages of the restoration regardless of what the instructions say so that you don't nick the paint work or get chemicals on the paint.
Your lenses should be crystal clear and look and perform like new when you are done.

Hey Guys:
Thx for feedback!
Day one photo & the headlights are a little foggy!
I will use Wenol on them today & they'll be crystal like the '04!
Yep, my Daughter's inherited '03 Cammy. Also a cream puff & just amazing reliability!
I love Toyota & I'm looking for a SC300!
Thx. Randy

oh.. I don't know.. 3 or 4 of them in the garage sounds pretty good.
Would love to have a white/pearl one... favorite color.
And no... nothing wrong with you that can't be fixed... oh, wait... Lexus... nothing to fix.

My family had 4 at one time, my brother just sold his.. Its back to 3. They are amazing cars! Once you got more than 2 you start ordering parts in bulk!
