Where did you order the replacement foam from? I need this for mine. I need some squishiness back in my seat bottom.

Rear sway bar links were a PITA to remove. Of course, had to use a butane torch to loosen the nuts, but all the Allen heads were rounded out. Cut off one side, then used a vise grip to loosen the nuts. Got more clever, tore off the boots on the other side, and managed to squeeze in a smaller vise grip.

Did 3 x trans drain and fill. Did one four months ago. They're not so bad once you've done it a couple of times. Trans always shifted smooth, now perhaps a little bit more smooth. Fluid looked much more like what I was pouring in by the third one. The first two were fairly dark.

One problem encountered was that my drain plug bolt seems to have stripped. No leaks or seepage noticed yet, but will need to change out the bolt, tap in new threads, or replace the whole transmission pan. Thinking about just doing the latter and changing out the strainer while I'm at it. Any advice for or against dropping the pan?

Did an oil change with BG EPR and MOA. No noticeable changes in engine noise or smoothness. No way to tell if it worked! Also, polished my headlights.

Did also note that the inner tie rods need to be changed...that will be done soon

I had a stripped trans drain plug when I got my car. I used a tapered self tapping pipe plug, 3/8 I think, that worked well. Eventually changed the pan with a new one I found for $100. There isn't much metal there to try and tap it. If you change it putting a couple of studs in the trans will help guide the pan up to the trans.

I have an extra one. it doesn't add squishiness back though. It's fairly firm from the factory with very little padding. You need an upholstery shop to add more and/or use a gel pad (I did both).

Used a fluid extractor to get all the brake fluid out of the reservoir and topped it off with fresh Lexus DOT3 fluid. I'll do a proper brake bleed at each caliper when the weather cools off but just wanted to replace this fluid now because it was getting a bit dark.

I got my wheel back from the repair shop and they got the bends out. I haven’t driven the car since putting the wheel back on but it should ride smoother. The bends were so bad that my wheel looked lopsided.

I also vacuumed the floor mats too.

The brake light may have been broken, but no worries, under Oregon's Gov. Brown, one may now possibly graduate summa *** laude from high school with such spelling.
Looks like you got a nice LS430. Hope all goes well with it and you.

All the parts for the brake upgrade finally arrived last week and on Monday installed. Slight clicking noise attributed to the slotted rotors and should subside after some miles. SS brake lines also were used.

Not sure the calibers were properly painted and clear coated so will keep a watch on this condition. The color is from an SC model, Royal Sapphire Pearl (8L5).

Got the car back from the body shop. They repainted the quarter panel and blended onto the door. Paint match is much better.

Bravo! I so wish more people would pay attention to their lights, especially brake lights.

(Not today but rather yesterday) I received the new wheels from Japan so I decided to do a quick test fit. Fronts wil need a small spacer to clear brakes and fender work. Overall, pretty happy with how they fit.
They are SSR MS3 19x9.5 Fronts and 19x10.5 Rears

Both are ET 5. I wasn't sure they would fit as most of the research I did showed offsets in the teens. They don't poke as much as I thought they would
