Front passenger window has been dead for awhile now so finally got that fixed. Ended up using a local shop and while the LS was there I had them flush the brakes, do a drain and fill on the transmission, do the power steering fluid, and the rear diff fluid.
Didn't really want to fuss with any of that due to how murderously hot it is in Texas right now. Going to drive it for a bit and have them do two more drain and fills and do the strainer on the last one.

I changed my sparkplugs yesterday. They looked like they were due. I noticed some of the hoses were looking brittle (20 year old car now). I'll likely work to tackle those soon.

Wow…. This thread was way down the list and had to scroll a ways to find it. Not today, but I did wash the LS430 and dressed the tires for a meet tomorrow. Typically take the SC300 but the LS430 was requested to make an appearance. Will post some pics tomorrow of any interesting vehicles in attendance but not too many JDMs at this monthly gathering.

Went to the meet as noted above. Not very many interesting vehicles this month….

Remembered to take a pic of my car.
Rare Opal GT.
Exotic NSX on hand.

Didn't do the work myself of course, but had a little dream come true and got my pitted, 19-year-old windshield cracked by a rock so I could finally qualify for a new one. I went through Glass America, and to my delight and shock they could not find an aftermarket so State Farm approved OEM!! I went to the shop and just out of curiosity asked to see the glass and was a little kid at Christmas when I saw the "made in Japan" sticker and blue tint on top. Sure enough, original Asahi (AGC) DOT-20:
Yes, I'm a nerd, but I have wanted this for years so $500 deductible was an easy pay for me.

Installed clear UV blocking film in the garage windows so that the direct afternoon sunshine on the cars through the garage windows wont yellow the headlights or degrade the interior. I usually keep the '05 LS430 and the '98 LS400 covered even while garaged but sometimes I get a little lazy and just want to look at them all pristine and ready to roll.

Agreed. Had not seen one in many, many years. The owner (standing there in the picture) shared the car was a lot of fun but the challenge was cooling the massive engine. He said that if he gets stopped in traffic that the radiator is too small and has to watch the temp gauge closely.

Washed and parked back my 03 in the garage. Canceled my insurance and not going to drive it until March. In the meantime, going to drive my F150 (4x4) and Sienna (AWD) for the winter.

How's the ride and where did you get those coilovers from?

It definitely rides firmer than even the OEM sport mode which I was surprised at. I haven't had a chance to really test it out much except for ripping around in the snow today but my first thought is that it also feels much more planted and stable.
