I filled up my tire up and started the car for the first time in a month. I’m hoping to get new front tires ordered soon.

Stepped into the garage this morning to take the kid to school. Weird that the car did not do anything. Usually the little lamp under the mirror turned on as I walk closer to the car. Then I can not open the door by touch. That was weird. I was running kinda late, so grab my wife's key, and took the kid to school. I did not try to open the door manually - who does this anyway lol...

Got back home, figure out that the battery in the smart key is dead. It was still working fine yesterday, kinda weird but nbd. I installed new battery in the smart key and all is well.

Default Did a whole lot!!!

Within the last few months I’ve,
changed oil
replaced front lower control arms
front/back stabilizer links
replaced alternator
got new tired (Pirelli Cinturato) 245/45/18
new diehard battery
oh and last but not least change the starter.
Didn’t know if the starters location. Lots of work.
The battery and alternator and starter were all replaced for premaintenance reasons. All were working properly however my LS has 188000 miles and I prefer to have optimal reliability.

Put my all seasons back on Thu., took off snows. 1/4 all seasons was flat, so I decided to puncture it where I pulled a screw out last year, and plug. Nope, that's not it cuz it loses 3 lbs. in 24 hours. Annoying!

I do plan on getting new Pilot Sport AS3+ summer/fall, but I want to get some more out of these Rydanz that came with the car. I think we need to "train" ourselves not to throw things away prematurely. At least that's what I'm learning from my wife's Premiers. (when I get the AS3+ how are they gonna account for the snows? meaning when ODO says 40k, maybe the AS3+'s only did 30k cuz the snows did 10k...I'll ask at that time)

Gonna change oil tomorrow, crossed 6,500, either PP or M1, Wix XP.

did the oil change @ 6591, really one of the easiest cars ever except for having to bend the plastic forward for the oil filter, and decided to investigate the leak in the tire. It's the dang bead, maybe the rim needs to be cleaned with tire dismounted.

Took the spare out, it's mint from the factory but has been used as there is one tiny nick and some scratching in the lug holes. At first I thought someone stole the hub cab, but duh, how does it get secured in the trunk? Not sure what I'm gonna do....

factory fresh with blue grease pencil from factory

Had the USA Spec BT45TOY installed in my 2001 LS430 UL, along with the panavise cell phone holder bracket. Had these done while they installed a 500W Rockford Frostgate amp for my little 10" Kicker Solo Baric sub. Very pleased with the bluetooth so far, as well as the handsfree calling. Surprised/pleased at how much our trunks muffle the bass coming from my solo baric. However, Overall happy with both!

Wired my fog lights to be used as DRLs.. not sure if I like the yellow or if I’m going to buy some cool white LEDs to throw in there

Thanks John Good catch, I had the low beams on in this pic, was trying to see what it'll look like at night. Last time I was at the dealership I had them disable the DRLs though.

I bought these I bought these
and just wired the fog light relay to a fuse that gets power with the key turned.

Im thinking of getting that BT45 as well, but mainly for Bluetooth streaming of audio. What changes does it make to the Bluetooth for phone calls?
