When you get a phone call it stops rings, not sure if it stops the music or not while ringing, I’ve only gotten one Phone Call so far. Is super nice to have hands free calling though, that’s why I went with the BT45. Vaistech makes a good music only Bluetooth integration deal as well, Vaistech is the company Lexus will install at the dealer of you asked them to do it. The BT45 sounds great music wise to me and I wanted the hands free calling! From what I understand you can customize it to not announce a call. I’ll mess with that at some point. I love the music quality.

Great so far! I wanted more bass so I added a sub in the trunk yesterday. But the Dayton sounds good!

thank you. I had them professionally sand blasted/powder coated. And yea, graphite is a good description — forgetting the official name of the color

BT45-TOY requires it's own microphone to be installed in order for it's hands-free feature to work properly. I just disabled the "phone audio" option in the bluetooth options on my phone and let it handle audio only and phone calls were handled by factory "hands free" bluetooth connection to the stock NAV unit.

I wasn't happy with the sound quality of the BT45. I threw it away and bought the one from Vaistech and I am very happy. I think is it the SL3b model. Sound quality is very good.

I removed the tilt telescoping fuse for the steering wheel. I got uncomfortable seeing it moving.

I had 5 inch exhaust tips put on to replace my 4.5 inch Borla tips. The new tips look massive compared to the Borland and it changed the sound a little bit.

I’m going to put the Borla tips on my sister’s 2002 LS430.

I’m getting new brakes installed on my LS today. I’ve had some black rotors sitting in my house for the past two years and it’s about time I put them on.

Does removing the fuse disable all tilt or just the automatic tilt?

You cannot move the steering wheel manually anymore after removing the fuse....

You can also disable the auto tilt via the Techstream options and retain manual control

I fixed my non-opening drink holder using a video found here. Next up - new trunk lid lift supports.

I got the brake rotors and ceramic pads installed. It’s a nice improvement over the old ones. I’ve never had ceramic brake pads before.
