What did you do to your LS430 today?

symmetrical = good!! nice job. The reverse is when a car has a single exhaust (nothing wrong with that), but it has a cutout for another either there and visible, or even taken out. I might be thinking of Hyundai....

I raced a few maximas on the interstate and on the way home I heard a noise coming from the rear pass side right behind the head rest upon discovery I found my struts/shock leaking from the damper adjuster sound like mice are behind the seat ..
Pass rear FUNCTION FORM T2
I cant find anyone else that had this happen to them and how the fix was achieved as in.. a new set or you receive a replacement part or went back to stock

Here are the latest pics of the new wheels and tires acquired last month. The delay was due to awaiting the arrival of the aftermarket center caps which I could only find on eBay.
When the weather is better, will work on cleaning these up. Plus I have Lexus logo cap decals in route that may be added.

Plenty of brands do this, including Toyota. 2007-2011 Camry only got dual exhausts on the V6 models, but the fours had cutouts in the bumper as well. This is obviously a cost-saving measure, to not have two separate bumpers produced for the different models (with single and dual exhaust setups).

It’s amazing how newer wheels update the look of the 430. Looks like an entirely different and much newer car.
Yesterday I fixed my intermittent horn (only worked when it felt like it). I thought spiral cable but my stereo controls, no air bag light, and other steering wheel controls work perfectly. I read an old post here (I can’t find it now to thank the OP). The OP said a randomly working horn can be a bad ground. He ran a wire from a bolt near the steering wheel to a nut above the brake pedal on the firewall. I did the same and now I have a consistent horn.

Got an alignment and pulled the LH upper cam cover to see how long I can put off replacing the timing belt. I think I'll be ok for a few months.

Lifted the hood and looked like coolant hose swallowed a pig. I was under there just to get a list for changing valve cover gaskets when I saw this. Went ahead and changed it. Noticed valve cover bolts were actually loose so I cleaned everything up and torqued them down and changed the plugs. Gaskets may not need to be changed but we will see.

Got new shock replaced front pass hub and spindle changed ..picked up some fenders seen some other trying to figure out some vibrations in experiencing in rear 70-80 probably needs another wheel balancing
Stain from the shock fluid
Seen this sliding over the track in the 430. Idk ???
Is there any replacement for these? I can't find nothing only the whole part lower half

I tightened all the bolts on the valve covers last night. All of the bolts were loose, not even finger tight. It was 33F outside so maybe the gaskets shrunk a little. I used a 1/4" ratchet to snug up the bolts and after driving today no more leaking or burning smell coming thru the vents. I then de-greased the engine bay from the top and bottom so the dealership doesn't present me with a $1K+ bill when I get an alignment.
