Default Driver's side mirror problem

On my 2004, I've noticed that the driver's side mirror doesn't stay in its normal position. I have come to the car several times recently, and noticed the mirror is slightly forward of where it should be, out of the normal locked position. I thought someone kept bumping it, but now have determined there is something else going on. I always have the switch all the way to the left, so it doesn't automatically fold in when the car is turned off. When I find it out of position, using the interior controls, with the motor running I can fold the mirror in, and then back to the correct position, but when I turn the motor off, it jumps a little bit forward, out of the locked position. Has anyone else seen this particular issue? Thanks!

I'd try cleaning the contacts on the switch as others have had it fix some problems such as yours. It's cheap and nearly free.
