You only have 28,563 on the car?! This car might last you 20 years!

I'm going to roll up on 9k miles soon since Oct. 1 last year, I seem to be putting about 50-55 per day. Kinda stinks but with this car I'm not afraid (before 2010 I drove 28 miles/day and complained lol)

20 years would be great, my new job is the longest commute, I have ever done. I used to only drove 6 miles a day for 20 years, so this is a big change.

2006 w/134K miles. I would like for it to last at least as long as my Camry did before I traded it. That car has 250K miles on it and was still going strong. At 15K miles a year that's another 8-9 years before I need to think about getting rid of it.

I am hoping the LS 430 is as dependable as the LS 400. My wife has a 1991 LS 400 with 194227 miles on the odometer, and the odometer has been broken for 10 years

175k and within a month gonna have the timing belt, water pump, cam seal, serpentine belt and battery changed out since I have a brand new optima red top siting there collecting dust. Hoping it last until the next major tune up and goes pass 300k.

2001 base model with Nav/ML speakers it has 100k miles.

I would love to get to 200k or about 10 years out of it.

The previous owner took good care of it with pretty much all major and minor services documented. Oddly the only fluid that he didn't change out was the transmission fluid. I wanted to flush it out and get fresh fluid in there but was also nervous about changing fluid that was possibly 16 years old with that many miles. I took it to a trusted mechanic and from the state of the old fluid and the fact that there were no issues with how the transmission was shifting he felt it was safe to flush.

Man this car shifted smooth before but with fresh fluid it is almost eerily smooth when shifting. When I drove it back form the mechanic I kept feeling like it was starting to slip or something but it was just SMOOTH. I had to verify with the tachometer that it was indeed shifting I just couldn't feel it most the time.

I'm having a weird issue with the navigation. It shows my location but won't allow me to enter a destination. Honestly I understand it's an older car with relatively ancient technology so that's not THAT big of a deal to me or unexpected for it to start acting wonky.

The speakers need refurbished. I want to try gluing new surrounds but I want to know if all the speaker covers can just be pried off or if I need to dissemble the door panels and remove the rear deck for the bass speaker. If anyone knows let me know

Other than that everything works perfectly and I'm quite happy.

The door panels do have to come off if you want access to the speakers, however they really are pretty easy to remove without damaging anything in the process...

I have 92K miles on my like new 2006 LS 430. I love this car but I also have a 2006 GS 430 with 36K miles... Lexus really knew how to make a car in 2006. LOL.

Just bought my LS430 this past January. It had had 138500 on it when purchased. I plan on driving it till it dies or I die. No matter what comes first.
Overall reliability of these cars are truly a wonder among all car makers. Never had a car so easy to work on either.

It's funny imho for those of us who say we want to drive our cars forever. We will likely be different people by then. Some of us might be middle-aged now, and retired and still have the LS430's running fine in the future

An analogy is the so-called older original owner who still has their LS430 today....
