Hissing from Radiator Cap

Hissing from Radiator Cap
Hey whats up everyone, just a quick question.
Last night when i got home turned the car off and heard a hissing noise. Took off the cover where the radiator is and it was coming from the radiator cap. The car wasnt over hearting stayed at normal maybe went up a hair on the cluster but nothing serious. This is the first time ive heard this hissing sound. Would it happen because the cap is going bad and just needs to be replaced? and there was no overflow in the reservoir.
any input would help thanks

Replace the radiator cap and monitor it. OEM is always better on these small parts. Toyota and Lexus dealers keep them in stock. Wait until the car is cooled down before you replace. I recently did both my gas and radiator cap. Just for the hell of it. I mean they eventually fail. It was like $20 for both of them through my dealer.
