Ls 06 wont move smoothly..
Hi there,,
my first post ,, hope to be useful for every one ..
i have Ls 430 06 ,i just do the 80k service and the problem was happening before i do the service.
the problem is : when i'm totally stopped and hit the gas pedal the car take time to response, you can hear the engine sound but the car wont move smoothly ..its happening even if i was moving very slow and hit the gas pedal ..
and if 'i was moving and totally stopped ,the engine revving still preforming for one second or less "without hitting the gas pedal"
any suggest ..

Sounds likes you were leaking transmission fluid and this is why they replaced the gasket. I think maybe you should take the car back and have the dealer make sure the transmission is not low on fluid. The car needs to be brought to operating temperature for the test. This is where I would start. If the engine is revving but the car is not accelerating then it's most likely the transmission.
The dealer can look for codes and verify you have the latest software update.

Actually the problem happened around 72k before a took it to the dealer for 80k service
and i never seen a leak under the car..
by the way do you think reinstalling the software will solve this kind of problem?

If you were leaking transmission fluid the transmission would act abnormal. No, the way you decibe the symptoms it is not software related. It sounds like the transmission. All 6 gears should be smooth like butter. It is possible to fill the transmission to the point that it is coming out the overflow port but you do not have the correct amount of fluid. This can happen if the tech does not heat the transmission up while on the lift and run it through the gears. I would have this checked.
