Strongarms installed for the trunk, it literally took 5 minutes to install the pair, super easy to do, although I do have experience with supports. It's nice having some resistance pushing down as well as spring going up.
I was really surprised to see them Made in the USA. cool!

Oh, one more thing- I couldn't decide on what iPhone adapter to get, used, new (isimple, USAspec, VAIS, etc), so I bought a Walkman cassette adapter. I know some may not like the aesthetics, but the sound is very good, I am really impressed. It should buy me some extra time to decide which more permanent solution I want to go with.

I just got back from a 2600 mile trip in 6 days- long fast trip- but the car drove excellent and handled everything we threw at it.
I haven't calculated MPGs yet, will do that and report back.
One thing i did notice was the seat bottom was very uncomfortable. I need to replace the driver side bottom for sure, perhaps the passenger. Has anyone else noticed they are uncomfortable? I've replaced 2 cushions on other vehicles this year, although this has more motors but shouldn't be too much of an issue. The results are night and day, so I am optimistic that the Lexus will be more comfortable as well.

I'm considering new tires. The fronts and rears are two different brands, with the fronts being Made in China They have good tread, but the Michelin Primacy's seem to have excellent reviews. I am just waiting for the $70 coupon from Costco to come back- their current promo is $70 for BFGs. Hopefully next month.

if your transmission has been serviced before, do you know when? at 120k it would be way past due. what was the condition of your power steering fluid. mine was putrid at 90k.

I have been procrastinating, other things to do. I tried to pull the trigger a week ago but Atlanta Lexus had computer probs when I called. So I will get it. I've done 5-6 non-lexus seats in the last 7-8 months , including replacing the foam in 2, so this shouldn't bee too hard.

I heard about a TSB for the tranny, but I am unsure if it's done yet or if I should do it. I am pleased with how it shifts.
