i have the same issue with mine.

i replaced the LCA bushings but still occasionally get some noises that are not consistent.

my shop thinks its the rubber in the top of the strut mounts.

your is a UL, is there still rubber mount ?

 

front upper arms are a cinch to get out, maybe an hour tops on each side.
