Default New Brakes All Around For The LS

I finished the brakes on the LS yesterday, and it feels better now under braking. Was a pretty easy job, overall.
I bought new Drilled rotors through R1Concepts and got the Ceramic pads as well. They shipped the stuff overnight and it all looked great when I received it.
I ordered the bolts through Sewell and got a nice discount. They were 4.82 a piece, retail on them was 7.85 each.
A few pics of the finished product...

Wow...looks nice, Harrier! Your calipers look great too. You drive it in the WI winters? Does not look like it.

Thanks Randal.. No I haven't driven it in the snow here, not yet... I just bought the car about 10 days ago, and one of the negotiating points was the SERIOUS need of brakes. He was quoted almost 900 dollars for new brakes/rotors/etc. so he was willing to knock off some money for that expense.
I ended up doing the whole thing for about 235 bucks, and some quiet time in the new garage I built during the summer. Gotta love it...

Nice job. I had a package from R1 that I put on a minivan I used to have. Same thing drilled and slotted. Helps out on a heavy car. OEM rotors are quality too. The downside to slotted is that it will eat the pad away faster.

That is true.. I had a 300zx that I put drilled rotors on years ago, and it seemed to go through pads pretty easily..

I know... I know.... It's not an LFA...

I like the way they look on the car. At least I didn't paint the calipers red.
