Changed trunk light bulbs now both don't work ?
Normally I wouldn't make a post over something so simple but this got me . Received my SuperbrightLEDs today so I went to change some bulbs...
Previously I've swapped in $250 of LED's into my 99' so this is nothing new...
I started with the license plate lights. After slicing my knuckle within first minute , 45 minutes passed & I was ready to reinstall. After all clips & screws were secure I plugged in the trunk lid light harness. The LED came on & all was good. I wanted to upgrade the light inside the trunk with a better LED I ordered, so I swapped it & nothing. Spun it around, nothing. Replaced it with a regular filament bulb, still nothing . Looked above at the trunk lid light & now that was out too . Checked all other lights & seems to be no other issue. With such an isolated problem, is there a fuse for just these two bulbs ??
Thanks

I believe the trunk light will go to sleep after the trunk lid is left open for a long time. Try closing the trunk lid and all the doors. Now re-open the trunk lid again to see if the light will work.

The fuse box in the trunk is located on the left side under the carpet. For license plate lights, look for a 7.5A fuse called "LCE LP". For the 2 trunk lights, look for a 7.5A fuse called "RR ECU-B".

I went to the fuse box & was confused by some of the abbreviations. I took a picture for later reference. Thanks to rkw77080 for clearing it up.
Thanks to Lexus for engineering two 5w bulbs to their own fuse.
