My other choice was an '04 Custom Luxury in Flint Mica for $1K less. Same mileage but maintenance was spotty, not even close on body and wheels condition, 1 minor accident (rear), needed TB & WP, and some fixes necessary (outside mirrors, console arm rest wouldn't open, etc.). The '04 negotiated to the bottom of the market range; the '06 was an absolute steal (well-below the bottom of the value range) and in excellent condition.

Looks like you made the better choice...congrats and looks very clean.
I too have a few LS's to take care of between ours and the parents...
My mom loves her 2001 with 165k on it...have an 02 and an 04, but end up driving the 98 most of the time.
Once you find a good thing it's really hard to let go...but then, why would you want to?
