Car won't start and high standing water
I have a 2005 LS430 (like most people here) I need some help, I live in Florida and last week I was driving and it started to rain and the water became standing. I had to drive through it to get home, since that moment my car hasn't been right. It won't start up anymore. At first i thought it was the battery, i purchased a new one from the dealer. I installed it and it started up first try, i drove to a friends place it was still starting. I made it home and parked the car the next morning it won't start again. It just clicks when i try to start it up. This was over the course of 4 days. Does anyone have and suggestion.

Yes, water can damage the alternator. Especially that much. I think this is your problem because you replaced the battery and she started and ran but if the alternator is not charging the battery correctly you drain the battery and are back to being stranded. If it turns out to be the alternator RockAuto has good deals on them. Denso is the way to go.

If the fuses are good, then test the alternator.
It's an easy DIY - Take a look at this post https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...-ls-430-a.html

Yes I jumped started with with the battery in my GS, I so far it is running fairly well. I'm not sure what is going on with it I took apart the fuse box checked everything and couldn't find a problem. I had it tested so far so good. I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks a lot

From what you've shared, it sounds like your battery was draining faster than your alternator can recharge it. Another possibility would be that the new battery your purchased was not fully charged to begin with. After starting the vehicle, you drive a short (assuming) distance to a friend's house, so the alternator did not have time to fully recover what you used to start the car previously. Then you drive a short distance home and run the battery down even more. Just speculating here!
