Exclamation Please Help -- Seat warmer light bulbs out

I know this is quite odd and weird, but does anyone on the forums know what types of bulbs do the seat warmer lights are? When the lights are on, the green background of the light do not light up. Like the background lights, the orange indicators are fine.

Is there something out of a manual that there is to replacing this or is it really complicated?

I think you can find the bulb type in one of the LED light threads with a search.

I guess you are going to DealWithIt?

The background bulb is a 4 mm neowedge bulb. You can find it here. very easy to replace. https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...panel-led/221/

If you want to keep the light green in colour, you will find a green cap over the old bulb, don't throw that away, and place it on the new bulb you're getting. If suggest you get the white LED so that you get the best green color out of it using the cap.

If you are talking about the little bulb that comes on when you turn the seat climate controls on, that would be just a normal 3mm diffused LED, which needs soldering to the board. And here is the link to it:

Good luck.

If you take a look at the FAQ (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...iy-thread.html), you'll see the Lighting section, which links to https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...nd-part-s.html.

Those bulbs on the Sport/Norm, ECT, Height, seat heater switches are Lexus part number 90010-01059 (14V 0.84W with a green cap). The bulb is built into a grey twist-lock plastic base. The bottom of the base is keyed for removing/installing with a Philips screwdriver.

You may want to use Toyota bulb 90072-02005 (14V 1.12W, black base with V-2 and TSD marked on the back, $1.05USD) or maybe Toyota 83119-24070 (brown base with V-2 and JSD marked on the back, $6.06USD). Just keep the green cap from your old bulb just in case.

It is very easy to replace. Use a taped screwdriver or plastic pry tool, undo the clip at the seat heater side, then undo the clip at the far left side. Slowly remove the panel, undo the harness, then the entire thing is free. Look around the side, you'll see the bulb base that is keyed for a Philips screwdriver. Turn counter-clockwise half a turn and the bulb is free.

'm not sure, but does the coin tray (box) to the left of the steering wheel have a light in it and if so, how do I replace it?

I've ordered the 4mm lights for the seat heater rheostats. Hope the natural whites look cool white.
