Recently purchased 2003 LS430. Very happy but have some issues.
- Passenger power mirror is extremely loose.
- Cannot lock doors from passenger door lock switch nor with main door lock switch.
- Driver side back window switch moves the window up and down intermittently.
- Hood shocks do not hold hood up.
- Slight popping sound from the front when making a left turn.

Welcome and congratulations.
Door lock actuator motors can be purchased for only about $7 each and fixed as a DIY.
Mirror control switch can be take off and cleaned for improved performance.
Hood shocks can be replaced easily and RockAuto, Amazon, Ebay all have them for cheap.
Popping when making a turn is usually CV joints but they are not a common failure. From sway bar bushings, sway bar links, lower ball joints, tie-rod ends, and lower control arm bushing can all pop or make noise under different circumstances. Probably need to investigate that more closely.

Thank you a ton Lavrishevo, your information is a great help. On that passenger side mirror it can be moved quite freely from its regular position and it does not lock in place well. Do I have to purchase another passenger side mirror or is there some adjustment that I can make? Again, thank you for your valuable information.

That I do not know. That problem is not common and sounds like maybe something was damaged. If you are handy I would take it apart and see if you can fix it before purchasing a new mirror assembly.
