Question 01-04 screen fitment on 2006?

I am searching for a used NAV system for my '06 LS430. All I can find on eBay are the ones for 2001-2004.

I can see a difference of the connectors from the back, but the front looks identical to mine.

Has anyone done it before? If so, do I need an adapter for my old connections to fit on the older system?

Thanks.

I (personally!) would not try to find out whether 01-03 nav unit is compatible with 04-06, I'd rather look on yahoo.jp and get a japanese screen, probably be cool to have hieroglyphics on your buttons for that genuine JDM touch!

Hmm, that is an awesome idea!

I already found one online, but I don't know how I can get my hands on it.

Has what appear to be the same connectors for the U.S version.
