Default 200 mph on an LS430! 320 km/h -

Hahaha, no I didn't trick you with the title, I have what seems to be an LS430 speedometer that has 320 km/h as a limit!

It was provided by TOM's, the company who has tuned the LS430 with a Supercharger, and a couple of other mods too. They have a lot of used one's for sale back in Japan.

I don't know if the 3UZ + TOM's supercharger = near 320 km/h

That's not my question though. I was wondering if our speedometer was swappable with this one?

If I knew it would work, I would look all over Japan to get me one. I like the km/h too.
I do have plans of Supercharging my LS in the future, after the kit is all up and done. But in the meantime, even though I won't do 320/km/h, I really love the way it looks, way better than the U.S spec in my opinion.

I am positive the answers to your questions lay in directly contacting Tom's.

That doesn't look like a LS430 ODO in my opinion and hence do not believe it would fit our cars.

Right, I'll shoot them an email. Hopefully hear back.

Hahaha, if you don't have a similar speedometer, then I don't think you have an LS430. ;D

Dope. Interesting that they made one for both models. It would suit a CDN spec car just fine, too bad you would have a hard time using half of that 320km/hr.

I wonder how many Tom's Celsior parts are sitting around in Japan... I'm currently waiting on a Tom's drop in filter, a Tom's carbon induction scoop would be nice but they are rare & were expensive to begin with.

Was thinking the same exact thing today. All these pictures I posted were from cars that are advertised on a Japanese dealership for used cars!

What does the carbon induction scoop look like?

I'd even take a plastic one! Factory inlet is probably less than 50% of this Tom's one.

Central Pine has one. Find out for us...

I took a look at the OEM induction scoop today. I didn't realize there was 4 separate chambers built into that one piece. It all must help keep things quiet. Too quiet...

that was the moving force behind this car, make it as quiet as possible. Giving it a drag coefficient of .26, better than a Nissan GT-R, you know they were serious building and designing this car.

I love CF, but my Injen intake is too awesome.
