Good eye on all the little things that add up. Most folks would miss them. Hope you have better luck next car.

Unfortunately, I don't have time to shop for another UL (or any LS for that matter) as I have to drive back to NY by Wednesday
Drove all the way to Lakeland yesterday to look at another car that was privately owned and they painted over the airbag light with nail polish (wtf is wrong with people??)
Ended up going a totally different route and had someone bring his car to my shop for an inspection and I just bought it cause I'm running short on time
It's no Lexus, I'll tell you that
It's small, but huge, cute, but ugly, cool, but geeky, but mainly it's dead nuts reliable and ultra clean

Went there with the intention of taking it home for ~$6k since they said they were negotiable
After pointing out the damaged bumper, dry rotted/flat tire, faulty door lock actuator and non functional radio controls (I think it was set on rear passenger control or sumthin), I got him down to $5500
But after seeing the painted cluster, I just said by Felicia and headed out to Tampa to check out the other Ultra
All that being said, if I had the time to mess with a project car at my shop in Orlando, I'd probably offer them $5k and run with it as is
