Is it possible to program a new un-programmed factory fresh Smart Key by using the original 2005 LS430 Master Smart Key, the ignition switch of the car and following a set of programming instructions where the door has to be open on a Thursday with the emergency brake on etc.
I can't locate any Smart Key programming instructions for the LS430.


I realize there are three steps to follow to complete this task
1) Have the key mechanically cut.
2) Program the Three buttons, open, close, trunk.
3) Program the Smart Key


Or maybe it can't be done on the LS430
What piece of equipment does a locksmith or dealer have that's required?


Also is there a wallet smart key available for the LS430, looks like a nice accessory.

I am not aware of programming instructions for the '04 - '06 Smart Access key like the one you allude to (which CAN be done on the '01 - '03 LS key). You need Techstream to DIY program additional Smart Access keys to your '05.

Yes, there is a wallet key available for your '05 LS. Be sure to get the correct one - for 3rd gen LS.
