Default cd player

first time lexus buyer 2005 ls430
ive had this car for a week yesterday I inserted a cd in the player worked fine , then inserted another , im getting an cd error message, nothing will play and I cannot eject ? then not to mention the passenger door actuator is not working and its a lexus part only , they want $700.00 to fix it ?
any help I would appreciate , very disappointed for such an expensive car , had no problems with Honda

Try resetting the system by pulling the negative on the battery and then reconnecting after 10 seconds. Go back in the car, turn car on or to ACC and hit the eject button right away.

Are you using your own burned cd's? You have to be careful about the thickness of the disk themselves and this can cause a jam.

You could try pulling the unit out yourself and taking it apart to remove the CD's but I am not sure this is your problem. Could just be a bad unit. It is not a common failure.

like I said it worked fine the first time I put a cd in , I heard about the credit card trick with the double face tape , I might give that a try , also the red and amber light s still come on when you push eject and load, I appreciate your help and feed back , I had a lot of fun replacing those seat filters too loll

If you are a music fan pick up a Grom or Vaistech unit. You can plug in via usb, bluetooth, 1/8" mini, and so on. Sound quality is just as good as CD with higher bitrate mp3's.

The seat filters are good to do. Not advisable to run them without a filter.

can you see the edge of the cd that is ejecting? error3 and 4 both say take it to the dealer. not an option for me. I listened to cassettes for a month and decided the cd was coming out. I could see the edge and slipped one butter knife under and one over and pulled it out second try...cd was ruined but no more cassettes. error 1 is the cd is dirty or upside down. owners manual says no homemade cd's but that is nonsense. just use good quality and burn slowly.
