Bought used LS 430 with only one key--valet key.
Ordered and had locksmith program three keys (no remotes).
He made a master, a valet, and one spare key. (no remotes)

Couldn't get the front passenger door open for the ride home, so determined that the latch was broken... but then noticed the problems with other doors and wondered whether there is both a physical aspect and a potential programming error. The red light on the key icon on the car blinks when all keys are out, but from what I assume this is normal.

Can't feel any mechanical in back of the button on the passenger side doors or the driver's door; however, the driver's door works and the rear passenger door opens and closed and can be locked and unlocked physically from the inside. However, this door and the front passenger door and the driver's door will not respond to the lock/unlock button on the arm rest of the driver's door.

Any thoughts or suggestions?


Phase II:
O.K. once I removed the cover from the interior door handle enough of the wire was visible to unlock the door. The plan is now to keep it open until I can get in and see what the repair will entail. Now I've just got to find some door parts. Does anyone know what the **** that you touch to lock the door is called? Part #?

Some are suggesting to destroy the door panel and buy a new one.
