Default Ignition coils

I need your expert advice. What is the difference betwwen these references : 90080-19027 and 90919-02330?

I have some troubles with the engine start. I'm thnking about replacing the iginition coils.

About for 3 weeks, the ignition is hard and I have some rough idle.

Thank for your help.
Denis.

I will leave that for others.
But things u can do is throttle valve cleaning, air filter clean or replace, spark plugs, coil boot and spring, fuel filter, pv valve, MAF sensors cleaning.

All the maintenance was done before my holidays to prevent problems. I have done a road trip (around 100 miles) before the problem appears (Throttle cleaning, air filter cleaning, MAF sensor cleaning, fuel filter replacement and PCV valve changing).

So I'm thinking about the ignition coils. I have found two references for the same name.Is there a difference between 01-03 and 04-06 models ignition coils?

Thanks,
Denis.

Not sure if those are symptoms for coil failure, but I suppose you could proactively replace them. From my experience with my RX300, the coils just fail without warning and it goes into limp home mode. I didn't get any hard starts or bad idle, just failed around 110k. Next failed within 1000 miles, so I decided to change the remaining four, figuring they were going to go and because it goes into limp mode, didn't want that happening while miles away from home.

This my goal to change the ignition coils. I have no problem with this. But which reference to choose : 90080-19027 or 90919-02230?

To be honest the price is different :
90919-02230 : around 100 bucks for a set of 8 ;
90080-19027 : around 250-300 bucks for a set of 8.

It must be a difference, no?

Thank you,
Denis.

I recently had a ignition coil pack go bad. Out of the blue, my car began having a really rough idle bad enough to shake the car. I first replaced the plugs, but that didn't help. After reading the check engine code I tried swapping the coil pack which gave me the code and found that the error code moved as well. I bought a single replacement pack for around $70 and problem was fixed.

Thanks for your advice. Do you know the reference of parts ordered?

90919-02230 is after-market coil.
90080-19027 is genuine Toyota OEM replacment coil (hence more expensive).
