Question Sway Bar?

I have an 02 Ultra. Sometimes hearing a clunking noise in front end...mostly going downhill over a bump. Ride is still good. Does my vehicle have a sway bar that could be loose, etc.

I did post about possible ball joints, and I am going to check them out. I recently called the tire store, as I recently put new tires on. They said that they checked the ball joints, because they can't and won't do the alignment if they are bad. I am still going to get my master tech to look at the car...maybe bushings.

The car is low miles for its age.....92,000. Combo of highway and city. Used to be more highway, adn will go back to even mix when I move offices in two weeks. I do drive a roundabout way to current office in order to give some highway miles, and to make sure everything comes up to temp.

Any help appreciated. Just wondering if a sway bar could be loose.

Could be front sway bar bushings, but more likely the typical front lower control arm bushings.

I have the same problem... just put my car in the shop... hopefully this will take care of that knocking noise. 2005 money pit... but once this is fixed,it should ride like a dream... I think it's the bushings... my car has 83,000 miles
