Hey guys. Looking for help. Lol, the LS isn't going anywhere, but looking at an IS350 I found as a second car for the better half. I can't get any help on the IS forums, so I figured I'd try here.

'11 IS350 79k miles. Clean, Lexus serviced. Price is $22,000. Are these are bulletproof as ours? The miles are a tad high but I don't see that being a problem in a Lexus, so long as these are high quality and as reliable as ours are.

Here is my other post for more info:

If any of you guys know a thing or two about IS ownership, please chime in!

Thanks guys!!!

Just make sure ALL the factory recalls have been done. The IS is a good car, but had a ton of recalls and service bulletins.

I would also say the price is a bit high. As mentioned, good car but not on the same level as the LS430. 18 - 20 thousand is about market value

I also think the price seems high, but I checked KBB and it's about right on the money.

In any case, I should be getting a discount bc I've been good friends for like 15 years with a guy who is friends with the sales mgr.

KBB, Edmunds and NADA can be guide points for prices but popularity and availability can drive prices to a premium, especially when considering well maintained cars.
I found this true when looking for 2004-2006 LS430's.
I'm not familiar with the IS350 but browse the forum's classifieds to see which cars sell the most. Those cars should have lower values.

You can help yourself by using the buyers link that's listed in the 2IS FAQ

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...e-threads.html

Sorry, don't need two threads and this one is in the wrong forum. If LS members want to respond, they can use the link to the one in the 2IS forum you gave
