That company gets one every few months. I would wait for a Type C. Basically an ultra luxury model before there was such a thing. It will be 2026 before they can import a 430.

Pretty cool stuff... I've been looking for something to play with on the weekend. Maybe a JDM import is in my future?? I like that little Honda City.

Is there any reason this would be legal to use on roads in this country?
I suspect this would be a museum or show piece and not much more.
Why not comb the country for a pristine LS400 if that's what you want? At least it could be driven on the roads.

Really though, unless you have some sort of velour fetish(that's how a lot of Celsiors came equipped instead of having leather), just buy an LS400. The Celsior is the same car mechanically and cosmetically except for the Toyota badges and steering wheel on the wrong side.
What I'd really like from him though would be one of those 1990 Supra 2.5 R's he has. 1JZ-GTE under the hood, pretty limited production, never sold a MK III Supra in the states with that engine.

RHD sucks when you're trying to turn left at a traffic light and can't see oncoming traffic. Other than that you'd get used to it.

The 2.5R is too nice. Makes me miss my 88 turbo MKIII.

Actually, grey market cars that are 25 years or older are not subject to the EPA and DOT standards that newer cars have to conform to, so importing them is a fairly straight forward process. Still a few hurdles, but they're rather low...
