What brand hub-centric spacers did you get?
To those of us who are running hub-centric spacers, which ones did you go with?
After some quick research I found that Ichiba V2 makes them model specific to our LS430's. But the product isn't really attractive at all, it looks like a cheap Chinese knockoff. The reviews I read about them are not good either.
But some other owners have used different brand name spacers, with excellent results. BUT, the things is that the spacers that they have chosen were not model specific to our cars.
A couple of people bought the GS one's, and some bought the SC430 one's. I just really need to confirm that. So if you've had experience with spacers for the LS430 please feel free to chime in.
I have also contacted H&R the manufacturer. And they said that they don't have one made for and specifically tested on an LS430. I told them I would offer to "beta" test them on my expense, but they said that they might not have the team and time to make that happen at the moment.
The thing is, I know some people who are running H&R's, but I don't know which model they got.
I think the only difference will be the hub size. So let's say if the GS shares the same hub size, then it should be compatible with the LS430.
I know I'm making it harder than it look , but would love some insight before I commit.
*For those who will want to run their mouth about how un-safe it is, please save it. I have done my research, and looked at what I want from this application and have decided that it should be applicable for my needs. So point is, I don't want this post to turn into an "it's not safe" lecture.
Please and thank you

I think that's all there is to it - hub bore and hole pattern.
I think Ichiba V2 may be less safe because it has lugs in the spacer, as opposed to obviously proper way to do it, with extended lugs and whatever spacer you like.

Yeah, that's the wrong way.
IMHO of course, but to install extended lugs you'd have to disassemble the breaks and stuff, and this spacer is a bolt-on, which makes it simpler to install. In all likelihood you can ride on those for years and nothing bad would happen.
But the very idea of bolting the wheel to the spacer that is bolted to the hub looks less reliable than bolting wheels+spacers straight to the hub.
H&R provides the following explanation about their spacers:
Variations
DRS Series (10 - 40 mm track widening)
DRS Series spacers fit between the wheel and hub, and require exchanging the existing wheel studs for longer ones (included).
DRM Series (40 - 90 mm track widening)
DRM Series spacers bolt to the hub with existing wheel studs and special nuts (included). Wheel is bolted to new DRM wheel studs.
So essentially thicker ones are bolt-on and 5-20mm spacers are mounted with extended lugs

Thanks for the input fellas, I appreciate it.
I went ahead and made an order with Motorsport Tech. They make them in custom sizes, and finish in 1 week.
I ordered 12mm for the front, and 25mm for the rear.
It'll help the car look more beefy, we'll see!

The only measurements I ended up needing are the hub bore's size, lug size. And in the LS430's case the measurements are:
Bore size= 60.1mm
Lug size= 5x114.3
^if you give this information to any company that makes custom spacers, they will be able to replicate a hub centric to car spacer.
This is what Motorsport Tech offers. Their stuff is made in the USA and they've been around for more than 25 years.
From there website:
"They are custom built in the USA out of Alcoa 6061t6 billet aluminum. We can machine a spacer from 3mm to 30mm thick, to meet your needs, no matter what vehicle you have. We build them hub AND wheel centric, to create a perfect tight snug fit, ensuring a beautiful, perfect ride."
This is what my order looks like:
Cost was $225 +free shipping.
Big thanks to Motorsport Tech for their excellent customer service. They made sure I'm getting the right parts that will make my car look good.
I also needed up to get longer studs in the front. They recommended to get ARP studs. These chromoly steel studs are heat-treated and have a 190,000 psi tensile strength rating.
They are $35 for a set of 5 studs. I felt like it's better to go with the best or nothing, after all these specific parts play a vital role carrying you over the ground and not dropping you over bare pavement :P
I'll post before after pictures when I receive them for future reference.
