Default Toyo

I was getting ready to put the P7's on when the tire shop owner convinced me to try the new Toyo brand. He said to try them for a month and If I wanted the P7's he'd put them on no question. The Toyo's are so quite they're invisible. Cannot believe the ride as well. He said they're laser/machine made so much better than hand made. Excellent rain traction as well.

Will not use anything else now.

I put a set of Toyo's on my 2013 Chevrolet Malibu last month. Great ride and comfort.

Get the Michelin Primacys and get back to us. They are by far the most quiet tire available. Also, it is a bad idea to run 2 different make tires on the same axle. Move the Mich to the back and the other to the front if you are going to do that.

Get 4 Michelin Premier A/S tires. Staffs at America's tire told me Primacy is going to be replaced by the Premier line.

I went from Michlins to Toyo versada Noir 96 H and I could not believe how quite and smooth they were over the Michlins.

The LS430 is one of the quietest cars ever produced. This car was is whisper quiet. The Primacys were on the top of the list at one time but unfortunately are now out of production. With 18s the noise gets pumped up to the 17s and the quietest 16s. Choosing the right tire will and can still give you a quiet ride, but as tires change so will noise levels.

I bought a set of 18" Premiers two weeks ago at Discount Tire to replace the old Primacys. I found the Premiers to be loud and rough, which was surprising. I had a Lexus tech inspect them while I had the car in for service. He concluded that some or all of the Premiers "were not smooth" (i.e., defective) and told me to have them replaced. So I took the car to a different Discount Tire; they swapped the tires out for 4 new Premiers. Now the ride is smooth and quiet (as it should be).

My 05 has Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3's on the stock 18" wheels.
While the the traction and handling are incredible, even in rain, so is the road noise on rough pavement (chip seal). Not as bad on smooth concrete and asphalt. This a Y rated tire (100Y), so I believe that also contributes to noise. They are not the best tire for a luxury car unless handling is more important than quietness. I will be replacing them with a quieter all season tire when they are worn, but I can live with the noise until then.
