Default Several trouble lights came on

Driving along at 30 mph when there was a beep and the lights that you see in the picture came on. Car runs great. No switches were touched. Turn off and back on - still there. Car goes in to the shop tomorrow. First thought is a bad connection in a harness plug caused by water when they cleaned the engine but maybe not. Any suggestions?

My guess, either gas cap or o2 sensor.

Maybe you just pumped gas and didn't close the cap all the way.

Check engine light is usually accommodated by those other lights

My 2001 Base with 222,000 did the same thing a month or so ago... With the warning lights on the car ran fine, but i did keep my foot out of it until the issue was corrected...

Check Engine Codes were: PO1346 V V T Sensor/Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Problem Bank 1 and PO1349 V V T Malfunction.

In reading, it led me to the oil control valves, I took both out and tested with 12 volts, the LEFT side was hardly working and the right was nice and strong... New part cost $130 or so at the dealer and installed myself. With new part in hand from star to finish it took 10 minutes or so to install.

Hope this help and let us know what it was....

And the answer is...

Code shows emissions out of specs. Sensor downstream of catalytic converter out of range. Possibly caused by the Chevron TECHRON® Concentrate Plus injector cleaner I put in tank. If sensor is close to limit it can push it over. Reset code and keep driving to see if it comes back.

Well, at least you know what NOT to put in the tank from now on...

Rare for downstream O2 sensor to throw a code. The upstream sensors more commonly fail.

When I first got my car, I ran a bottle in 3 consecutive tanks. No problems
