Hey guys I have a really good price on a 2003 Ls430, but it has 160,000 miles. Is this a waste of time or headache. Or if I treat her right will I get another 100k out of her.
As far as I'm concerned, that's low mileage. I've got 244k on mine right now and haven't had any major issues. Just keep up with maintenance and it'll last a long time.
Research the maintenance history on the car via the Lexus Owner's website. You can input the VIN and see the maintenance that has been accomplished. What's the asking price?

The drive train on these cars are indestructible, only needed repairs in the future are the consumables (tires, brakes oil, bushings) which is a given with cars over 100k.
i bought a 2003 Ul last year with 171K miles and it drives like a champ...these cars are built to last a long time...my wife was very upset with me at first for buying such a high mileage car until she sat in it.....lol
Thanks for the input. I will definitely be checking all the important areas. I Just restored the headlights/fog-lights and added yellow leds. Other than that I like my cars stock.
