Default Wind noise after 60MPH

My 03 LS430 has a wind noise when speeds to 60MPH. Below this speed its very silent. What I have heard about Lexus LS 430 is they are very silent in great speeds. Are you all facing the same problem or I will have to change my Weatherstrips on the doors. Please suggest.

Mine has wind noise after 60MPH. It's normal. The LS430 is already so quiet that the wind noise is more noticeable.

Mine too. Both cars very quiet at high speeds. If the car has ever had a replacement windshield, look for that as a source too.

I had a windshield recently replaced
Told tech that it better not have any wind noise
Or I will bring it back

Rain sensor worked perfect
We used Oem windshield moulding

Took one hour test drive after 8 hours of windshield being sealed
65-90 mph test drive, quiet as serene oem LS

LS calling card is quiet. If it's making noise, I rather drive a Nissan Versa

Geols430, Why don't you take another for a test drive or find a friend with one. Then you can compare it side by side. I belong to a Jaguar club and we often compare cars... And yes they usually are running. :-)

Thanks for your comments. I believe the wind noise is due to the Door Weatherstrap, needs a replacement due to wear & tear. @rkanazawa, I have friend who has a 04 LS430, i will compare as you said.

I've driven 5 LS430 before I bought mine. They all had wind noise on the freeway (60-80mph). Very slight but it's still wind noise.

All of you are telling me you guys have zero wind noise?

With my music volume at its lowest setting, I no longer hear the wind noise but I know it's still there.

Are you guys driving with no music and hear NO wind noise? I'm asking because maybe something is wrong with all the LS I've driven.

"All of you are telling me you guys have zero wind noise?"

Well I think that "wind noise" has got to be defined in this case. Any object even with as low a Cd as the 430 will "create" noise when going thru the atmosphere. Items such as side mirrors and windshield wipers can create noise at high speed because of the nature of their physical shape. In this case here, I think we're talking about the side windows themselves. In both of my cars, I have no wind noise coming from the windows doing 90 to 100 mph. The "outer" (engine, pavement, the screaming of my wife etc.) area noise has increased but the cause is coming from the object itself (the car) and not the windows.

I haven't turned a car stereo on in 10 years

Sometimes at idle (waiting for wife in garage) I turned on radio AM

Never owned a cd, cassette, iPod in my life

As poster previous to me said there are tire and car noise but no windo noise

I also have a fast electric car, that's the only thing quieter than LS
But that car tire howl is more pronounced due to no engine
