Default Crashed 2002

Hey guys I bought my uncle's car after he rear ended a truck. The car needs right fender, hood, grill, bumper cover and headlights. Seems the most economical thing is one of the jdm conversions on eBay. It's that all bolt on parts? Not sure what the difference is between that and stock. Thanks for any help.

Well, first of all, welcome to the club. The JDM parts should all bolt on like the originals. You will run into issues with the headlights aimed at oncoming drivers, as they are designed for RHD vehicles/driving on the left. Everything else should be the same.
The cool thing is, you'll get those side mounted turn indicator lamps on the fenders

Thanks for the welcome 2k. I guess i should have introduced myself. My current car is a 06 subaru legacy gt. It has been the worst car I've ever owned. I started car shopping a few weeks ago trying to decide between a 2014 camaro ss or a 2012 challenger srt8. Then my uncle hit a truck so looks like I'll save about 25k and drive his dealer maintained lexus. Picked it up for 700. My wife and kids are not happy with me, they wanted the challenger!

Welcome! Also with front end damage, you might have some light front frame straightening that needs to be done? I know my 2001, was going about 10 mph when friend hit a camry in front of her and frame needed to be pulled back straight. Hitting a truck may have some damage as well. just a heads up.

No problem. I just found and bought a matching color full front clip. 1800 and a trip to California this weekend! Should have a nice car next week...

For your 700 dollar investment, you could dump a WHOLE pile of money at this thing and still be OK. Was the front clip a JDM, or USDM clip? Airbags deploy?

Found a usdm clip that is the same color so i went with that. Hopeful it matches good enough i don't have to paint, if not at least i won't have to paint jams. The jdm would deliver it at 1900 but I've never recieved parts that didn't get damaged in transit. This was 1800 plus i hope it's worth it!

Had about 3.5 hours to work on the car today. Frame work around the head lights was pretty mangled. The passenger side i was able to hammer it out and get it perfect. The driver side was creased badly so i drilled out the welds and swapped it over from the parts clip. The radiator and condenser are mangled but good thing i have new ones with the clip! The passenger side frame horn is bent and i don't have a way to fix it so I'll just cut it off and weld in the donor. Can't wait....
