What about if the car has 400k+ miles? I'm experiencing a slight lack of power. I service my 3UZ regularly on time everytime without fail. Would a shim kit take care of it?

No such thing as a shim kit. You measure the clearance and if out of spec, replace the shim. With that said, anyone know the Toyota tool number for the 2UZ-FE?
