Default Rear Parking Sensor

I recently purchased a rear sensor from Amazon (Chineese Sensor). My repairman installed it but the new sensor still beeps continuously even when no object is in range. It will however give me all 4 bars when I put in reverse or move forward and seems to react properly. Why does it still beep? How do I fix it. The repairman was stumped.

Under normal conditions for the rear parking sonar system, the buzzer will beep continuously if (and only if) the car is in "R", the ignition is On, the Clearance switch is ON, the engine speed is less than 2,500 rpm, and an object is within 250mm (9.84") of at least one of the 4 rear sensors.

Part number for the outside sensor is 89341-50011, and for the inside sensor is 89341-50050.

Just my experience:
You can't trust appearance;
you can't trust ohm readings;
most car came factory with sensors working front and rear, as long as you're in forward or reverse gears and under 10 mph;
you can test with car running in gear and handbrake set hard; get out and walk around you can hear the beeps with door open (but a helper makes it all easier);
only real test to find bad sensors is with bumper cover off but wiring connected to car; swap out sensors until you get all 6 working in unison;
"check sonar" warnings usually mean peeling paint (just remove the loose section) or a big insect carcass;
customization allows changing to which gears alert which ends of the car, and whether neutral disables all sensors (great setting in line at the bank, you don't have to go to park gear)
YMMV

Call your local Lexus dealer's parts department, or MYLPARTS.com at 916-677-8813. Have your VIN# ready, and they can give you the complete part number including the 2-digits that identify paint color code.
