Dash compass issue

My dash compass just started showing the wrong direction while driving. I.E. driving north it shows east. How can I calibrate this or reset it? 2002 ls430 non-navigation

This is covered in detail in the owner's manual. (Try page 63 in yours) It is no big deal, but requires an elaborate step-by-step process and driving around in circles.
