01-03 Tail Lamps replaced with LED=Tail Lamp Failure
Has anyone successfully replaced their 01-03 tail lamps with LED bulbs and not got any errors?
I'm going to be testing to see what the exact issue is on the weekend but for now all i can say is that i replaced the outer lower and outer upper tail lamps with LED's and got the Red Triangle + Tail Lamp Failure text under the tachometer.
Side note: The warning does not register until i press on the brakes. Which leaves me to believe that its either the lower row of lights that are causing the issue, or the 3rd brake light (its using a turn signal light bulb at the moment as the original bulb filament broke when i took it out).

So basically LEDs draw alot less current than the regular bulbs. You'd have to install a shunt resistor to draw more current and make the computer think the bulb is in place.

Would using load resistors made for fixing hyper-flash but for the brake lights be a solution? I feel like since apparently those heat up when in use that it would be even more hot when there's current running through it whenever you press the brakes + dim-mode at night.

I don't know what's a hyperflash, look at retrofitting websites like retrofitsource, they probably have some info on what resistor to use with LEDs and they probably sell the resistors too.
