I hit 150,000 miles on my way down to Chicago yesterday morning. So, I've put 46,000 miles on the LS in 2 years and 3 months. I figure I'm about half way through it's useful life. I'd like to see 300,000 miles on the odometer before I retire the car and the way it's running, I should have no problem. The transmission doesn't feel any different since changing the first 3 quarts of fluid, but it's good knowing it's done. The next 3 quarts is in a week or so.
I haven't had any real expenses on this car yet, other than the brakes and winter tires/wheels, so it'll be interesting to see when I actually have to spend some money on the car.
Is that the first time you have changed any of the transmission fluid? I'm at 120k and just ordered a case of fluid to begin the change out as I don't think it's ever been done on my car. I'd say good luck on your next 150k but you don't need luck. It'll make it no problem.

Yeah, that's my first time, and I don't have any history of it being replaced prior to my ownership. Looking forward to hitting 200K....
