Default Stalling and stuttering

I habe an 03 ls430. When I co.e to a stop and step on the gas to go the car will stall for a second or 2 and then go. When I step on the gas to accelerate quickly it doesn't do anything I have to slowly ease on the gas to accelerate quickly. And when I'm on the freeway and step on the gas to accelerate really quickly it doesn't do anything. I thought the tranny was going bad but when I called a shop he said it he didn't think it was the tranny at all and wanted me to bring it in of course to plug it in. Anybody have any suggestions??

Try cleaning your MAF sensor and throttle body. Many folks have experience good results from doing this.

What lsdude mentioned. I did it, and it helped. I didn't take off the throttle body, so it's hesitating some more. Will completely take it off and clean it, that will help a lot more.
